2012 Food Handlers Class is Scheduled

We encourage each families to send a representative to the class as every team in both Baseball and Softball will get some time to play on Freedom Field this year and will need to staff the shack during their games.

Our final food handlers class will be held April 24th from 6pm -7:30pm at Heatherwood Middle School Cafeteria. At this training session MCLL will cover the cost of your food handler permit.

This year our substitution policy has changed. Students of MCLL families may sign up to be on our substitute list. If a family cannot work their assigned shift these 'subs' are available. Substitutes are paid $20 per shift by the family that is obligated for that shift. Substitutes must have their Food Handler's Card and be ages 16-19. If you are turning 16 this year, you are eligible. The substitute list is available by emailing concessions@millcreeklittleleague.com. Please state your name and what shift you are trying to cover in your request for the list.

Can't make the class? You can complete the process yourself on-line- see below for more details. MCLL does not cover the cost of the online system.

**Please note that children under the age of 14 are not allowed in the Snack Shack at anytime and no one under the age of 16 is allow upstairs in the announcer's booth or allowed to use the field P.A. System. Children ages 14 an 15 that wish to work alongside their parent or legal guardian may do so with prior permission. Please email Concessions to obtain permission prior to the shift.

We are very excited to have you here!!

Did you know that MCLL's main fundraiser is the Snack Shack at Freedom Field? This fundraising opportunity helps to pay for our field maintenance, equipment and uniforms for all divisions of Baseball and Softball.

Families of teams that play on Freedom Field volunteer their time to make sure the Snack Shack is open for business at every game!
