Ways to Give Back
Mill Creek Little League is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. We are operated entirely by volunteers and are funded through registration fees, proceeds from the Snack Shack, sponsorships, and donations. Our TIN: # is 91-1609524. If you are looking for ways to give back, this page outlines how you can support the league and community.

Memorial Scholarship Fund
A memorial fund has been established to help less fortunate kids play Little League by providing scholarships covering the cost of registration fees. Click here to donate to the scholarship fund, in memory of Jacob Black, Pete Perry and Chris Langsea.

  • Jacob Black - It is with a heavy heart, that we announce that Jacob Black passed away at the age of 28, in November 2023. Jake was on the 2008 MCLL White Sox Majors team that went 38-0. He was on the 12U All Stars Team that went to the Little League World Series in 2008, a once in a lifetime opportunity that he cherished forever. Jake is remembered for his glowing personality, and always making his teammates laugh. Jake graduated from Jackson High School. Thank you for making history teammate.
  • Pete Perry - In February 2023, long-time Mill Creek Little League and District 1 volunteer umpire, Pete Perry, passed away. Pete was instrumental in the early success of the league and was an inspiration to many. He devoted a lot of his time officiating games not only for Little League but also for high school baseball and softball. Pete's family is part of the MCLL community and his grandchildren play in MCLL. To help other families cover Little League registration fees, Pete's children have chosen to honor his legacy with an MCLL Memorial Scholarship Fund.
  • Chris Langsea - Chris Langsea, Mill Creek Little League VP of Operations, passed away in April 2022. Chris served in this role for more than 4 years. He was our trusted advisor with all of our interactions with Everett school district, the City of Mill Creek and the Snohomish County Parks Department. Chris took the utmost pride in managing the upkeep of all our fields. At the drop of a hat, he would miraculously respond to every last minute, panic-stricken text about missing equipment or a broken fence. Chris humbly managed every assigned task as the VP of Operations and still found time to volunteer as a coach. Chris was a favorite manager and mentor to so many of our baseball and softball players, and a dear friend to so many in our community. Mill Creek Little League truly could not have been as successful without his leadership.
Concession Stand
Proceeds from the Snack Shack serve as the league's primary fundraiser. Please volunteer in the Snack Shack and treat your friends and family to dinner or dessert under the lights at Freedom Field.

Sponsorships
Become an official MCLL sponsor! Learn about out our three levels of sponsorships and their benefits.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Many companies offer donation and volunteer hour matching gift programs that double, or even triple a donation's value. For example, Boeing’s gift match program can double your charitable contributions and volunteer hours in any combination -- up to $10,000 per year to eligible nonprofit organizations. Tip for Boeing employees - search "Your Cause", and set up individual or recurring volunteer hours that are self reported (SO EASY!). Check with your company to see if your company is one of many employers already supporting our league. Contact our Director of Volunteers if your employer needs MCLL to certify hours.

Fundraisers
We do not do a large fundraiser. Instead, we depend on the proceeds from the Snack Shack. We do a few fast food fundraisers during the spring season (dates listed on our calendar webpage).
