
Little League Day
Little League Day is our league’s annual "opening day celebration", and will be held in April (date TBD) at Gateway Middle School from 11:00am - 2:00pm. It is a free community event for all players, families, sponsors and league officials (past and present) to come together to reminisce about the past and share excitement for the season to come! Please contact us today if you have any comments/questions or would like to get involved.
Activities
There will be a parade of teams, league photo, team pictures, ceremony, activities, food trucks and special guest appearances.
Parade of Teams
The parade of teams will begin at ~11:30am. Players must meet in the tennis courts to get lined up by 11:15am (look for your coaches name on the fence). The parade will end between the two softball fields at approximately 12:15pm, where teams will line up for a all league picture and brief ceremony. Each team carries a customized banner in the parade and then hangs it on their backstop throughout the season. Designated Team Parents generally take the lead on ordering the banner, instructions are available here - we recommend be ordered no later than April 10.
Parking
Parking is available at Gateway (lot behind school and in front of school) or at Forest View Middle School. Carpooling is encouraged.
Food
There will be several awesome food truck options available. Cash and credit is accepted.
Team & Player Photos
Pictures will take place throughout the day at Little League Day on April 19 - the team schedule is available here. Each team has an assigned time slot. If any changes are needed, only team managers will coordinate with our Special Events Director, Katy Boyd. Please check-in with photographers, who will be set up on the softball fields 5-10 minutes before your team’s time slot. Individual player pictures will be taken first, then team pictures. Players should wear their game day uniform. No equipment is needed.
