Player Evaluations
Little League® player evaluations, also referred to as tryouts, are an annual activity for all local leagues, whether a league redrafts all of its team rosters each year or only selects players to fill out rosters in the Major Baseball and Major Softball divisions.
MCLL Evaluations
Players only need to attend ONE session, but may attend more than one. You do not need to sign up for a particular date, just show up and sign in!
Softball Only
-Friday, Feb. 24, 2023 @ D-Bat (18421 Bothell Everett Highway 98012)
-8/9/10 year-olds: 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
-11/12 year-olds: 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Baseball Only
-Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 @ Base by Pros (14926 35th Ave. W. Lynnwood 98087)
-8/9/10 year-olds: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
-11/12 year-olds: 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm
All players who attend evaluations will be placed on a team. No players are "cut". Players should dress in warm layers.
Evaluation numbers will be provided for safety-pinning on the outer layer on their back. Make sure their number is pinned where it is visible.
Please arrive 30 min before evaluation time to check in, get the players number, and get warmed up.
FAQ
- What if my child is injured or too ill to attend evaluations? Player can check in at evaluations and be excused as injured/ill.
- My child has a conflict with his/her age group's assigned time(s). Can he/she attend another age group's time? Please make every effort to attend evaluations at the assigned times for your child. However, they can attend another age group's time if absolutely necessary.
- How many evaluations should my child attend? They must attend 1 evaluation, but are welcome to attend all if they would like more opportunities to show their skills or if they enjoy being on the field.
- What is the format? There will be ground ball, fly ball, hitting, base running and pitching stations.
- Are all players required to be evaluated? No, evaluations are only for minors and majors.
