Letter from the President

Hello Mill Creek Little League Families,
We are excited to welcome you back and hopeful we can provide a completed Little League Season for 2021! As I mentioned in my previous email, things may be different and we will all need to be flexible, but we are so excited to hit the fields again.
At this point in time, we need to approach 2021 with a "Phased Approach" not only to divisions & registration, but fees as well. I will begin with fees - in short, we do want as many kids to be able to play as possible and since we are in Phase 2 of the Healthy Washington - Roadmap to Recovery, we are only going to be charging for the month of March $100 for field reservations, insurance, and registration. The current plan with District 1 is to start Interleague Games Monday, April 12th (after Spring Break) and at that time we will then charge the remainder of the league fees (no changes to league fees at this point in time in terms of Total Cost). We are taking this approach because we do not want to get into the situation we were in last year with deductions and at the same time we are hopeful this will help spread the costs over the season better for everyone. This initial deposit is non-refundable and locks in your spot for the season and your team. For additional support, please check out and apply to the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant, it's a great way to receive support for the upcoming season.
I must now share the bad news that is outside of our control. The Everett School District has made the decision unilaterally without any input from any of the sharing Little Leagues to restrict access to their fields for the Spring & Summer 2021. What this means, we are not allowed to reserve any field use at Silver Firs, Mill Creek Elementary, Gateway, Woodside, Penny Creek, Heatherwood, Jackson High School, etc. Since we are unable to reserve field space we cannot insure our players or coaches on these fields. Due to this decision, we are limited to the amount of space we have available and can only open Majors & Minors at this point in time. We are hopeful to open the other divisions after Spring Break (April 12th), but are still working on the rollout plan. We have three (3) fields that we can currently use - Freedom, Willis Tucker, and Martha Lake, we are also looking into Pilchuck & partnering with our neighbor Snohomish Little League as they own their own complex. The exact details of the schedule are still in work, but our priority is to ensure the safety of our players, follow the Guidelines outlined by the CDC, and provide a fun outdoor activity for our Little Leaguers. While I hate to open the season on a sour note, I wanted to act in full transparency with you as it is an incredibly unfortunate decision.
Please also join us as a volunteer. You can register as a volunteer at the same time as you register your players. We need UMPIRES, MANAGERS, COACHES, TEAM PARENTS, and MORE.
- If you would like to apply to be a manager or head coach this year in Majors or Minors please email your application immediately to [email protected] or [email protected] (If you want to be considered as an All Star Manager, you must manage during the regular season).
- If you are willing to volunteer, you will have to reapply by sending your personal email address to [email protected]
Should you have any questions, concerns, or comments please email me at [email protected] I can't wait to see all of you out on the diamond again soon!
Player Evaluations are scheduled to begin Friday March 5th! Please reach out to our major sponsors

(Yes, that's a new website! ...and yes, it's still a work in progress. We'll be redirecting the millcreeklittleleague.com domain name this week.)
