Letter from the President

To families of Mill Creek Little League,
We have been notified by WA District 1 and Western Region Little League that there are Little League's in District 1 that are not following WA State Guidelines when it comes to Spectators wearing masks. It is very important that we follow State COVID 19 Guidelines or we risk our fields being closed for non compliance. Spectator’s are required to wear masks at all times, see Spectator Guidelines below. These warnings and complaints are very real, so please take these seriously.
WA District 1 is requiring that all leagues follow WA State Guidelines. COVID19 Sporting Activities Guidance.pdf ( (Updated April 21, 2021).
Phase 3 Spectator Guidelines - please follow COVID19 Spectator Event Guidance.pdf ( (update April 19, 2021).
All School Districts in Snohomish County that are part of the WESCO Athletic Conference are also requiring that players on School Fields will wear masks at all times. Coaches must wear masks at all times and that parents who are present at games and practices are required to wear a mask. With Snohomish County being close to going back to Phase 2, player safety is at the utmost important and we must continue to keep them safe. When spectators are eating/drinking they should move away from others and practice social distancing.
I think we have done a good job as a majority, but we need to hold ourselves & others accountable at all of our Little League events.
Thank you,
RT Shaw
President, MCLL
